Wedding Day

Today Swiggs got married. It was a beautiful ceremony, although it was pretty warm, no AC.. The priest said he want us all to have a warm reception. Ah, Priests can be so funny these days. Anyways, at the wedding I sat with the Medwin sisters and their mom. I saw the smith sisters on the way out. The reception was at the office club at the Newport naval base. There I was able to catch up with Conklin, Basile, Evans, Caruso, Grover, Iacono and all us Gorton teachers. We took up two full tables at the wedding. Weddings are a little weird these days. It's really a couples kind of event and it seems weird going as a single. O well. The food was great. I had the stuffed shrimp (I dunno if that's spelled right). After a nice evening, I got home late. Golfing tomorrow at East Greenwich Country Club. Woo-Hoo!
